It Was 30 Years Ago Today

On this day, 30 years ago, I began my investment career working as a young stockbroker on Wall St. in Manhattan. That day is famously remembered as “Black Monday,” when the Dow Jones dropped by 25%. My colleagues surprised me with a small cake celebrating three decades in the business.

I’m looking forward to the next three decades.
