A Book for Your Funeral

Steve Jobs had copies of the book "Autobiography of a Yogi" passed out at his funeral as the last message to his friends and family. It was a book that profoundly impacted Jobs’ life, and he wanted to leave it behind in hopes it would have a lasting impact on those left behind.

When I heard about this, I asked one of my long-time clients what book he would consider giving out at his funeral. He thought for a moment and said, "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz. I couldn't agree with him more. It's an excellent book. Here are the Four Agreements:

Be impeccable with your word.

Don't take anything personally.

Don't make assumptions.

Always do your best.

What would your book be?
